Bayern Munich's Bastian Schweinsteiger "satisfied" with Wolfsburg win

Bastian Schweinsteiger is happy with Bayern Munich's "tough" win against Wolfsburg away from home on Friday.

Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has said that he is "satisfied" with his side's 2-0 away win against Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga on Friday.

Mario Mandzukic and Arjen Robben were on target for Jupp Heynckes's side at the Volkswagen Arena.

"We were good today against a very aggressive team," he told Bayern's official website.

"We had the chances to make it 2-0 earlier than we did, but we didn't see the moves through to the end.

"It was a tough away game, similar to the one in Mainz, with plenty of hard tackles. I'm satisfied with the performance."

The result saw Bayern extend their lead to 18 points at the top of the Bundesliga table.
