Wednesday's Bundesliga predictions including RB Leipzig vs. Union Berlin

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Bundesliga fixtures, including RB Leipzig vs. Union Berlin.

Schalke vs. FC Koln (Wednesday, 5.30pm)

Schalke 04 meet FC Koln in a Bundesliga relegation clash on Wednesday, with the hosts looking to move off the foot of the table.

Koln, meanwhile, can move out of the bottom three with a victory.

We say: Schalke 04 2-1 FC Koln

It is hard to envisage a high-quality encounter between two sides devoid of confidence at the bottom of the table, but given the amount at stake it should be an intriguing battle.

It is not far off being a must-win game for Schalke given that they are five points behind Koln, and we can actually see Gross's side securing a narrow victory given their greater offensive talents at present.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Augsburg vs. Bayern (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Augsburg take on Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening, with the hosts looking to spring an upset after three defeats in their last four games.

For Bayern, this is the first of five consecutive games against sides currently in the bottom half, so there is a clear opportunity to extend their gap at the top of the table.

We say: Augsburg 0-3 Bayern Munich

Bayern have not kept a clean sheet in the Bundesliga since thrashing Eintracht Frankfurt 4-0 in late October, but we can envisage that run coming to an end in this match.

Augsburg are likely to be heavily reliant on Ruben Vargas's pace and trickery on the break, so if the winger does not produce a great performance, it is hard to see them scoring even with Bayern's defensive vulnerabilities of late.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Freiburg vs. Frankfurt (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Two of the Bundesliga's in-form teams go head-to-head on Wednesday evening as Freiburg host Eintracht Frankfurt.

Both sides have moved into the top half of the table in recent weeks after a run of hugely improved performances and results.

We say: Freiburg 1-2 Eintracht Frankfurt

We can envisage an exciting match between two of the in-form sides in the division, but suspect Frankfurt may have a little too much quality for the hosts.

Frankfurt are a completely different animal now that they appear to be improving defensively and can partner Silva with an equally top-class striker in Jovic.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Arminia Bielefeld vs. Stuttgart (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Arminia Bielefeld take on Stuttgart in the Bundesliga on Wednesday, with the hosts looking to remain outside of the relegation zone.

Stuttgart, meanwhile, have dropped into the bottom half of the table, but have performed remarkably well on the road in their first season back in Germany's top flight.

We say: Arminia Bielefeld 1-3 Stuttgart

We can envisage Stuttgart's magnificent away form continuing at Bielefeld, who are rarely heavily beaten but may not have enough about them to cope with the visitors' counter-attacking threat.

Indeed, with Gonzalez providing the flair in central areas and Wamangituka the penetration from a wider area, they are a tough opponent for anyone on their day.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

RB Leipzig vs. Union Berlin (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

RB Leipzig host Union Berlin in the Bundesliga on Wednesday, with the visitors guaranteed to move into the top four of the table at the halfway stage of the season if they can beat Julian Nagelsmann's side.

Leipzig, meanwhile, must win themselves in order to avoid losing any more ground on league leaders Bayern Munich.

We say: RB Leipzig 1-1 Union Berlin

Union Berlin are the type of side which Leipzig regularly find difficult to overcome, with Fischer's side likely to sit deep and hit their opponents on the break.

It would not be a surprise to the visitors pick up a creditable draw, then, with Becker and Awoniyi likely to pose Leipzig's centre-backs real issues.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
