Agent: 'Dante will stay at Bayern Munich'

Bayern Munich defender Dante will not be leaving the club before the end of the transfer window, according to his agent.

Dante's agent has dismissed reports that the defender could leave Bayern Munich before the end of the transfer window.

Jerome Boateng and Mehdi Benatia have emerged as the first-choice central defensive partnership since the latter's move to Bayern from Roma last summer, and Dante has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena.

Everton were rumoured to be interested in the Brazilian, but Marcus Marin claims that his client is happy in Pep Guardiola's squad.

"There is no news, he will stay at Bayern," Marin told Goal.com.

"Of course he wants to play every week but I'm sure he will this weekend. The team changes a lot with injuries and I'm sure he'll get his minutes. He's comfortable at Bayern."

Guardiola's side meet Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
