Dante returns to Bayern Munich training

Dante continues his bid to reach full fitness by returning to training with his Bayern Munich teammates.

Bayern Munich have been given a boost ahead of the new season after Dante returned to training with his teammates.

A muscle injury sustained earlier in the summer has prevented Dante from playing in any pre-season friendlies and he is unlikely to be ready for the Bundesliga opener against Hamburger SV next Friday.

However, the Brazilian defender is closing in on a return to full fitness after a 45-minute session with the rest of the squad on Tuesday was followed by a one-on-one session with the team's fitness coach.

Pep Guardiola's side continued their preparations for the new campaign by beating AC Milan 3-0 in the Audi Cup on Tuesday.
