Bayern Munich reportedly hold a long-term interest in signing Erling Braut Haaland.
The Norway international has spent 2020 at Borussia Dortmund, contributing 24 goals from 27 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit.
However, according to Bild, the 20-year-old may have found himself at the Allianz Arena had Bayern been prepared to meet his demands.
In 2017, the German champions allegedly made contact with Molde in a bid to negotiate terms, only to be put off by the then-17-year-old's asking price.
The attacker is said to have been on Bayern's shortlist two years later, but his desire for first-team football led to him opting for elsewhere.
As a result of numerous release clauses, Haaland is expected to leave Dortmund during one of the future summer windows.
