Bayern Munich director of sport Matthias Sammer says that the club will not let striker Mario Gomez leave for less than €20m.

Bayern Munich director of sport Matthias Sammer has said that the club will not drop its asking price for Mario Gomez.

The striker is keen for a move to Fiorentina, but the Serie A side's bid has fallen short of the German champions' €20m (£17.2m) valuation.

Sammer told Sport1: "If the conditions are not right, then it's just not going to work.

"As long as our wishes remain unfulfilled, nothing is going to happen. But Mario wants to go to Fiorentina."

The Italian media has reported that Napoli are also interested in Gomez.
