Experienced attacker Thomas Muller wants to leave Bayern Munich in the January transfer window, according to a report.

Thomas Muller is reportedly keen on leaving Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.

The attacker has made close to 500 appearances for Bayern in all competitions, scoring 186 times and winning eight Bundesliga titles during his time in the first team.

Muller has only started three Bundesliga matches during the 2019-20 campaign, however, and is said to be frustrated with his current role at the Allianz Arena.

According to SportBild, Muller has made it clear to the German giants that he wants a mid-season exit due to his unhappiness at no longer being a certain starter.

Inter Milan, Liverpool and Arsenal have all previously been linked with moves for the 30-year-old, who is capable of operating in a number of different positions in the final third of the field.

The former Germany international, who has scored once and provided four assists in 10 appearances for Der FCB this season, has a contract at the Allianz until the summer of 2021.
