Lee Clark has been confirmed as the new manager of Birmingham City, replacing Chris Hughton at St Andrews.

The Blues have been looking for a new coach since Hughton left to join Premier League side Norwich City at the beginning of the month.

It is being reported that the former Huddersfield Town boss has agreed to sign a one-year rolling contract with the 2011 Carling Cup winners.

Securing the futures of young talents Jack Butland and Nathan Redmond was apparently keen to Clark agreeing to take charge.

Birmingham will hold a press conference tomorrow to officially unveil their new manager.
