Birmingham City welcome Peterborough United on Saturday as both teams struggle with their early-season form in the Championship.

Stephen Carr should return to the starting lineup following his recovery from a thigh injury, while Curtis Davies could miss out with an ankle injury.

Gaby Zakuani is back in contention for Posh, while Shaun Brisley is in a battle to be fit for the encounter.

Craig Alcock and Lee Frecklington should return to the first XI after being rested in the midweek League Cup defeat to Reading.
