Lee Novak fired the hosts into the lead on 29 minutes, expertly controlling Mitch Hancox's cross before smashing past Ross Turnbull in the opposition goal.

However, their advantage was cancelled out 12 minutes from the end, as Cotterill unleashed a fierce 25-yard effort which rifled past Darren Randolph.

Despite the best efforts of both teams in their bid to find a winner, the points were ultimately shared.
