Birmingham City secure Aaron McLean loan

Birmingham City secure a deal to sign Hull City striker Aaron McLean on loan until January.

Hull City striker Aaron McLean has moved to Birmingham City on an emergency loan.

McLean, who has featured just once for the Tigers in the Premier League this season, has signed a deal at St Andrew's until January 1.

Birmingham have moved for the 30-year-old after forward Matt Green was ruled out for the remainder of the campaign with a serious knee injury.

The former Peterborough United frontman will be eligible for Birmingham's encounter with Blackpool on Saturday afternoon.
