Blackburn Rovers frontman David Goodwillie will not be tried over assault allegations until the New Year, after his case was adjourned by the courts.
The 22-year-old was originally scheduled to stand trial this month after being accused of attacking a man in the street in Glasgow.
The decision was made by the defence at Glasgow Sheriff Court today in order to allow more inquiries into the incident.
The Scotland international joined Blackburn this summer from Dundee United.
