Former Blackburn Rovers defender Stephane Henchoz has branded his old club "a circus" after the recent managerial merry-go-round at Ewood Park.
Michael Appleton was sacked after just three months in charge of the club on Tuesday, following a seven-match winless streak in the Championship.
Rovers are now looking for their fourth manager of the season, following the earlier dismissals of Steve Kean and Henning Berg, and Henchoz believes that Venky's are to blame.
"I think it's a proper circus," Henchoz told talkSPORT. "Blackburn is a good club, but since Venky's took over I think it's been a joke.
"The problem is they don't have any idea about football. The managers they've picked haven't done a great job, but it's the chairman and the directors that chose the managers.
"At the end of the day they are responsible for picking the wrong manager so many times."
Henchoz endured two spells with the Lancashire outfit during his career.
