Steve Kean has insisted that he has not been handed an ultimatum by the owners of Blackburn Rovers.
However, the manager has admitted that he held talks with Venky's following his side's 2-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion at Ewood Park on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow's derby match against fellow strugglers Bolton Wanderers, Kean revealed that his future has not been discussed.
"No, not at all," Kean replied when asked by reporters if the Venky's had told him that his future is in doubt.
"We spoke for 45 minutes and had a good conversation. We were looking forward to the transfer window opening."
Reports this morning have suggested that the Venky's may decide to sack Kean on Wednesday.
