Steve Kean faces an anxious wait on his future as Blackburn Rovers owners Venky's are reportedly expected to make a decision on his managerial position on Wednesday.
The Scotsman will meet with the club's hierarchy this week for transfer discussions. However the Indian owners are believed to have discussed possible replacements including Graeme Souness and Avram Grant, according to The Mirror.
The career of the Rovers boss has been on shaky ground in recent months as the club continue to linger in the relegation zone following a 2-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
Local media have called for the sacking of the Scottish coach.
