Huddersfield Town manager Chris Powell has praised his players after they battled to a 0-0 draw with Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
Rovers will feel they should have won the game after former Terriers striker Jordan Rhodes missed a second-half penalty.
Powell told reporters after the game: "It's always a tough ask to ask the players to go again after a midweek game, but the players did well. They deserve the plaudits.
"We defended brilliantly. I asked for a clean sheet after Wednesday's game and the players manfully delivered."
Blackburn now sit in 12th position in the Championship, while Huddersfield are 18th.
