Blackburn's global advisor Shebby Singh stresses Venky's commitment to Rovers amid continued concerns from the Ewood Park faithful regarding their running of the club.

Shebby Singh has insisted that Blackburn Rovers' owners Venky's are committed to bringing long-term success to the Lancashire team.

The appointments and then sackings of Henning Berg and Michael Appleton have angered Rovers fans who were already concerned by Venky's running of the club since their 2010 takeover.

However, Singh, global advisor at the Ewood Park outfit, has stressed that the Indian businessmen are dedicated to achieving big things with Blackburn.

"We all know the transition period will end very soon and the fans will start enjoying their football again," Singh told BBC Sport. "I would like to assure the fans that everything possible is being done to make the club enjoy long-term stability. In football you have to set long-term plans.

"Unfortunately situations sometimes happen where you have managers with differing philosophies and this can cause the transition period to take longer than expected.

"The ambition is to get the club back on its feet and achieve what all club owners would like to achieve. So you can take it from me the owners are 100% committed."

Rovers are currently just four points clear of the Championship relegation zone.
