Team News: Four players handed Blackburn Rovers debut

Blackburn boss Steve Kean gives four players league debuts for their Championship opener against Ipswich, including a completely revamped attack.

Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has handed debuts to four players for their Championship opener against Ipswich Town this afternoon.

Dickson Etuhu and Danny Murphy both come in to make a new look Rovers midfield, while the attack has been completely revamped as summer signings Colin Kazim-Richards and Nuno Gomes start up front.

Ipswich will also field a number of new faces, with goalkeeper Scott Loach, defender Luke Chambers and loanee midfielder Massimo Luongo making their league debuts for the club.
