Tromso midfielder Ruben Yttergard Jenssen will train with Blackburn Rovers until the weekend with a view to securing a contract at the Championship club.
The 24-year-old arrived at the club's training ground on Wednesday, where he will spend three days training with Michael Appleton's first team.
"I am really looking forward to it and it will be a big inspiration for me," Jenssen told iTromso.no.
Tromso coach Agnar Christensen added: "Tromso have taken the opportunity to offer Ruben some new ideas before the new season starts.
"We are happy for this to happen and similar moves are going to happen several times in the future."
Blackburn currently sit 13th in the Championship table.
