Lee Clark frustrated with late equaliser against Bolton Wanderers

Blackpool boss Lee Clark admits that he was frustrated as his side were denied their fifth victory of the season by Eidur Gudjohnsen's late equaliser for Bolton.

Blackpool boss Lee Clark has revealed his frustration at a stoppage-time equaliser from Eidur Gudjohnsen that prevented his side from securing victory against Bolton Wanderers.

Michael Jacobs fired the Tangerines into a ninth-minute lead which looked to be enough to hand Clark's men their fifth win of the campaign.

However, Gudjohsen struck in the dying seconds of the match to snatch a point for the Trotters at the Macron Stadium.

"We're disappointed, we're frustrated," Clark told Sky Sports News.

"I'm really pleased with the level of performance of the players but we want wins on the board, just to get some confidence levels back to where they should be.

"It's a strange one because we've played so well and we've got a draw, which you'd normally take away from home, but it feels like a defeat because of the late, late goal."

Blackpool will be officially relegated if Rotherham United beat Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday, or if they fail to record victory against Reading on Tuesday.
