Blackpool boss Paul Ince believes that another four points will secure their Championship status this season.

Blackpool boss Paul Ince has claimed that another four points will secure the club's place in the Championship next season.

The 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Monday moved the Seasiders onto 50 points in the table, three points above the bottom three with six matches remaining.

"Everyone's winning at the bottom and it puts pressure on teams close to us. I think we need maybe another win and a draw and we'll be fine, and then we can build for next season," he told Sky Sports News.

"[Monday's win] brings other teams back into it, and all of a sudden you're looking up and wondering if you can get up there.

"It's a big lift for the boys because performances since I've been here have been fantastic. The results we've had have been a little bit unfair. Those draws could have easily been turned into wins."

Ince took charge of the club in February.
