Matt Phillips is unlikely to feature for Blackpool during tomorrow's home encounter against Leeds United.
The winger is believed to be keen on a switch to Southampton and as a result does not want to run the risk of getting injured, thus scuppering the chance of sealing a move to the Premier League side.
Thomas Ince took over Phillps's playmaker role at the weekend against Millwall and rewarded manager Ian Holloway with both goals in a 2-0 victory. The former Liverpool youngster is expected to keep his place for the visit of Leeds.
Veteran striker Kevin Phillips is also likely to continue in the starting lineup.
Meanwhile, Luciano Becchio and Ross McCormack will lead the attack for the Whites, who have won six times from 21 visits to Bloomfield Road.
