Blackpool: 'Thomas Ince granted permission to join a Premier League club'

Thomas Ince is set for a move to the Premier League after Blackpool granted the winger permission to leave the club.

Blackpool have tonight confirmed that Thomas Ince has been granted permission to leave the club, with reports suggesting that the winger will join Swansea City.

Following speculation linking Ince with a move away this January, the Championship side released a short statement saying: "Blackpool Football Club can confirm that, following discussions with Thomas Ince and his representative, permission has been given for Thomas to discuss a loan move to a Premier League club.

"Thomas has expressed his ambition to play in the Premier League for the remainder of the season, a decision that the Club fully understands and supports."

The 21-year-old is to discuss a move to Welsh club Swansea this week, according to Sky Sports News.
