Neil Lennon "frustrated" by Bolton Wanderers collapse

Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon says that he "does not understand" how his side failed to see out the closing stages against QPR to take home a share of the points.

Neil Lennon has admitted to being left feeling 'frustrated and angry' by Bolton Wanderers' late collapse at Queens Park Rangers.

Wanderers looked to have rescued a share of the spoils thanks to Wellington Silva's goal, but Jay Emmanuel-Thomas found a way through in the dying stages of the dramatic seven-goal thriller.

After seeing his side initially throw away a two-goal lead at Loftus Road, Lennon was quick to criticise his players for the way in which they failed to see the game through.

"I'm angry and I'm frustrated," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "It's just three goals away from home you expect to get something from the game, at least a point and we've come away with nothing. With 30 seconds to go, again, I don't understand why we're not seeing things out."

Lennon also hit out at referee Darren Drysdale, whose performance he described as an "absolute disgrace" in Saturday afternoon's Championship clash.

Bolton remain inside the bottom three following the defeat in West London.
