Substitute striker Gary Hooper scored a 93rd-minute winner to hand Norwich City a priceless win away at Bolton Wanderers this afternoon.
After a quiet opening, Norwich took the lead in the ninth minute when Graham Dorrans's free-kick deflected wickedly off the wall and trickled into the bottom corner past Adam Bogdan.
The Canaries almost doubled their lead a few minutes later but Bogdan managed to tip Johnny Howson's fierce shot from long range round the post, before Sebastien Bassong headed over from a corner when he was well placed.
However, The Trotters equalised against the run of play when Adam le Fondre neatly converted Tom Walker's low cross.
The hosts then wasted two great chances, as Le Fondre screwed an effort wide and Liam Feeney blasted over at the far post.
Norwich composed themselves and almost regained the lead one minute later, but Bogdan produced another fine save to keep out Cameron Jerome's low shot.
After the break, Le Fondre came close to giving Bolton the lead but his looping header was cleared off the line, before he was denied by John Ruddy when one-on-one.
Norwich had chances of their own through Bassong and Dorrans, until Hooper lobbed the ball over Bogdan after Jerome neatly flicked the ball on.
The result keeps Norwich in second place in the table, while Bolton drop to 17th.
