Bolton Wanderers boss Dougie Freedman has revealed that Keith Andrews has been told that he is free to look for another club.
The midfielder, who spent last season on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion, was recently left out of the team's pre-season tour of Scandinavia.
With one year remaining on his current contract, Freedman has informed the Irishman that the Bolton hierarchy will not stop him from finding new employers this summer.
"As we speak he's got a decision to make. He either goes and gets first team football somewhere and gets himself sorted or he's happy to be in the squad. That's all down to him," he told The Herald.
"I think his preference would be to play, and of course, I understand that. I'm sure there will be clubs interested in him because he did very well at Brighton last season."
Andrews joined Bolton from West Bromwich Albion in 2012.
