Robert Lewandowski insists that he will "give everything" for Borussia Dortmund after failing to secure a move away from the club this summer.

Robert Lewandowski has insisted that he will be fully focused on helping Borussia Dortmund succeed during the 2013-14 season, despite initially angling for a move away from the club.

The Poland international had previously been linked with Dortmund's German rivals Bayern Munich and Premier League champions Manchester United, but the striker has agreed to stay put.

"I will give everything I've got for Dortmund," Lewandowski told Bild. "It does not matter what happened. I am not interested about that on the pitch."

Lewandowski has one year remaining on his current contract.
