Agent: 'Ciro Immobile unlikely to leave Borussia Dortmund'

Ciro Immobile is unlikely to leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window, according to the Italian forward's agent.

Ciro Immobile's agent has claimed that the forward is unlikely to leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window.

The Italian endured a frustrating first campaign at Dortmund as former boss Jurgen Klopp often preferred to use Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a lone striker, which made opportunities rare following Immobile's move from Torino.

Immobile has been linked with Serie A clubs Napoli and Fiorentina in recent weeks, but his agent admits that the 25-year-old will probably begin the new season in Germany under new Dortmund head coach Thomas Tuchel.

"I believe Borussia Dortmund have taken Ciro off the market," Marco Sommella told reporters.

Immobile scored just three goals in his debut Bundesliga campaign.
