Borussia Monchengladbach survive Nuremberg scare

Borussia Monchengladbach score three goals in quick succession in the second half to record 3-1 home win against Nuremberg in the Bundesliga.

Borussia Monchengladbach have continued their surge towards the top four in the Bundesliga with a 3-1 comeback victory over Nuremberg at home.

The visitors went ahead midway through the first half through Josip Drmic, who latched onto Hiroshi Kiyotake's through ball to slot home from close range.

It stayed 1-0 to Nuremberg until the 72nd minute when Monchengladbach equalised, Juan Arango firing in from outside the box with his left foot.

It became 2-1 to the home side just two minutes later when Niklas Stark scored an own goal, and Patrick Herrmann wrapped up the points for his team when he turned in Christoph Kramer's pass in the 87th minute.
