Preview: Sheffield Wednesday vs. Bournemouth

Sports Mole previews the Championship clash between in-form Bournemouth and Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

Bournemouth have a chance to move to the top of the Championship table when they travel to Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday evening.

Eddie Howe's men are the form team in the second tier, having won their last five matches in a row to move up to second in the table, just two points behind leaders Watford.

A late penalty from Yann Kermorgant gave them a 3-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend and kept their winning streak alive.

The Cherries have no fresh injury worries for the trip, but Howe may include Kermorgant in the starting lineup after his goal at the weekend.

Meanwhile, the Owls will be looking for their first win in eight having drawn five of their last six Championship matches.

Wednesday were pegged back to a 1-1 draw with Charlton Athletic at the weekend which left them 13th in the table, six points outside the playoff places.

Joe Mattock is facing a spell out after being forced off at The Valley with an ankle injury, having left the ground wearing a walking boot and using crutches.

Both sides clinched away wins when they met in the Championship last season.
