Former England international David James has had his contract at League One side Bournemouth cancelled by mutual consent.
The 42-year-old goalkeeper joined the Cherries in September 2012 and went on to feature in 19 matches.
However, having lost his place in the starting lineup following a defeat to Walsall earlier this year, it has been decided that the experienced shot-stopper will depart Dean Court with immediate effect.
James made 53 appearances for England during a 13-year international career that ended back in 2010.
