Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe does not expect a busy transfer window at the Vitality Stadium next month.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has revealed that he is "very happy" with his current squad and does not expect the January transfer window to be busy for the Cherries.

Ahead of Sunday's derby with Southampton, Bournemouth sit 10th in the Premier League table, just two points behind seventh-placed West Bromwich Albion.

It had been claimed that Howe would look to further strengthen his squad next month, but the Englishman 'does not think that it will be a huge window' for the club.

"I don't think it will be a huge window for us this season, but you never know how things can change in football, with injuries," Howe told reporters. "At the moment I am very happy with the squad how it is, providing we don't have any major setbacks in the next few weeks, I don't think it will be a very busy month for us."

Jordon Ibe, Jack Wilshere, Nathan Ake and Marc Wilson were among the eight new players that arrived at Bournemouth in the summer transfer window.
