Brad Jones departs Bradford City

League One outfit Bradford City release goalkeeper Brad Jones just two months into his one-year contract at Valley Parade.

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Brad Jones has had his contract with Bradford City cancelled by mutual consent.

The 33-year-old joined the League One outfit on a 12-month contract in August following his release by the Merseysiders at the end of last season.

However, having made just three appearances for the Bantams, the Australian has now been released.

"We would like to place on record our thanks for Brad's time and effort while at the club. We wish him and his family good luck for the future," chief operating officer James Mason told the club's official website.

Jones has been capped four times by the Socceroos at senior international level.
