Lasse Vibe: 'Spirits are high at Brentford under Lee Carsley'

Brentford forward Lasse Vibe hails the job achieved by Lee Carsley at Brentford since taking charge at the end of September.

Lasse Vibe has admitted that the mood in the Brentford camp has drastically improved since Lee Carsley took charge.

The 41-year-old replaced Marinus Dijkhuizen at the end of September, with the Bees languishing just one point above the drop zone at the time.

Since the last international break, however, Brentford have racked up four wins on the spin under Carsley to climb into playoff contention.

Vibe has hailed the instant impact that the ex-Birmingham City midfielder has made during his first senior management job, and says that the improved mood can be felt right around Griffin Park.

"Things are looking up," he is quoted as saying by Get West London following the 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers. "It's nicer to be there every day now and spirits are good.

"Everybody is working for the same goal and everyone knows what everyone is doing. It's been really good since the last international break. It was nice to be in the stadium for the whole game. They were singing all game. They liked it as well so it's all good."

Jake Bidwell has also heaped praise on Carsley, claiming that he and his teammates are "buzzing" following their recent resurgence.
