Marinus Dijkhuizen: 'Brentford want two strikers to replace Andre Gray'

Marinus Dijkhuizen says that Brentford hope to sign "more than one striker" before the end of transfer window.

Marinus Dijkhuizen has said that Brentford want to sign "more than one striker" before the end of the transfer window.

The Bees sold Andre Gray to Burnley last week for a club-record fee, believed to be around £9m.

"Yes, we need more than one striker. It is difficult to say [when some new faces will arrive]. Sometimes they are a day away, sometimes two weeks. It's not part of my job now, and I'm happy not to have to deal with it, and with agents," Dijkhuizen told GetWestLondon.

Brentford have already signed forwards Philipp Hoffmann and Lasse Vibe this summer.
