Oscar Garcia: 'Brighton & Hove Albion deserved the draw'

Oscar Garcia says that Brighton & Hove Albion were full value for their 1-1 draw at home with Millwall this afternoon.

Brighton & Hove Albion manager Oscar Garcia believes that his team deserved their point at home to Millwall this afternoon.

Martyn Woolford put the visitors ahead in the 51st minute at The Amex, but the Seagulls rallied and managed to snatch a late equaliser through Leonardo Ulloa, who notched his fourth goal of the season.

"If you don't win at home you are not happy, but we are improving," PA quotes Garcia as saying. "It will take time because the players are understanding the changes we are making.

"Now we have a period of time when we can hopefully get players fitter. It's not easy to win consecutive games at home, or consecutive matches, but in the second half we played better than Millwall and deserved to score."

The result leaves Brighton in 13th with seven points from their five games so far.
