Brighton & Hove Albion looking for new striker

Brighton & Hove Albion's head of football operations David Burke says that signing a new striker is a possibility.

Brighton & Hove Albion will attempt to sign a new striker in the loan market, according to head of football operations David Burke.

The loan market opens to Football League clubs on Monday, and Burke has confirmed that the Seagulls will be actively searching for a new frontman with Ashley Barnes, Craig Mackail-Smith and Will Hoskins injured.

"We have always got players lined up and we have got three forwards injured so I would expect to see something happen as quickly as possible," he told the club's official website.

Brighton are 13th in the Championship and have scored six goals.
