Bristol City will unveil Derek McInnes as their new manager tomorrow, according to reports.

Current St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes has agreed to become the new boss of Championship club Bristol City, according to BBC Sport.

City are now reportedly finalising a deal and plan to unveil the 40-year-old tomorrow.

It is thought that the Scot was interviewed on Monday alongside former Barnsley boss Mark Robins and another unnamed candidate.

McInnes has been in charge of the Saints since 2007 when he took over from Owen Coyle, who left the club to take over at Burnley.

During his spell with at McDiarmid Park he guided the club to promotion to the Scottish Premier League.

Bristol have been without a manager since Keith Millen was sacked earlier this month.
