Bristol City manager Sean O'Driscoll has praised his side's response in the 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.
O'Driscoll secured a comfortable victory over his former side thanks to goals from Steve Davies and Marvin Elliott.
The 55-year-old coach insisted that his side did well after a difficult week and singled out his strikers, Jon Stead and Davies, for praise.
"I asked them 'why are you down the bottom?' - this is one of the most organised sides I've had in a long time," said O'Driscoll.
"It's been a difficult week. We trained them at the stadium today. They've responded terrifically, they worked for each other.
"Steven and Jon worked as a good partnership up front. I thought Jon deserved a goal for his efforts."
The Robins are currently 23rd in the Championship table.
