Sean Dyche 'to be named Burnley boss tomorrow'

Burnley will reportedly name former Watford manager Sean Dyche as their new boss on Monday after interviewing candidates last week.

Sean Dyche will reportedly be named as the new Burnley manager on Monday.

According to BBC Sport, the former Watford boss has beaten off competition from Steven Pressley and Steve Davis to earn the vacant managerial post at Turf Moor.

Dyche has been out of work since July when new Watford owners the Pozzo Family decided to replace him with Gianfranco Zola.

The 41-year-old is thought to have watched Burnley from close quarters on Saturday, travelling to the Cardiff City Stadium to watch the Clarets lose 4-0 to Malky Mackay's promotion contenders.

Burnley have been without a permanent manager since Eddie Howe decided to return to Bournemouth at the start of this month.
