AC Milan face Cagliari in Serie A on Sunday, hoping to win their second consecutive match in the league.

The Rossonerri claimed a 1-0 win over Hellas Verona to give Clarence Seedorf the perfect start in his first match as manager last weekend.

Despite that victory, they were knocked out of the Coppa Italia in midweek after suffering a 2-1 defeat at home to Udinese.

Caglari are 14th in the table and sit just three places below Milan. They have struggled in recent weeks and have not won in any of their previous five Serie A matches.

A run out of two wins from 12 has left them four points away from the relegation places, and they are one of only two teams yet to win away from home this season.

Milan claimed a 3-1 victory at the San Siro when these two teams met at the beginning of September.

The visitors have no fresh injury worries, while Mauricio Pinilla and Victor Ibarbo are both suspended for Cagliari.
