Half-Time Report: Cagliari holding Juventus at the break

Juventus are drawing 1-1 with Cagliari after 45 minutes of their Serie A match this afternoon.

Juventus are being held to a 1-1 draw by Cagliari in their Serie A match at the Stadio Sant'Elia this afternoon.

The home side took a shock lead in the 21st minute. A quickly taken corner kick was headed towards the back post where Mauricio Pinilla took a touch, before lashing a low strike past Gianluigi Buffon.

Daniele Conti should have doubled their lead just moments later, but he could only head over the bar from close range following a corner.

Juventus weren't behind for long and equalised in the 31st minute when Fernando Llorente met Stephan Lichtsteiner's cross to head past the keeper.

The visitors came close to scoring a second before the break, but Antonio Adan did well to hold onto Arturo Vidal's powerful effort and keep the score level.
