Team News: Alessandro Florenzi starts for Roma

Roma name Alessandro Florenzi in their starting lineup for this afternoon's Serie A match against Cagliari.

Roma have named Alessandro Florenzi in their starting lineup for this afternoon's Serie A match against Cagliari.

The 23-year-old comes in for the rested Francesco Totti and will join Gervinho and Mattia Destro in a forward front three.

There are two other changes to the team that claimed a 4-2 victory against Parma in midweek, as Alessio Romagnoli and Radja Nainggolan replace Rodrigo Taddei and Vasilis Torosidis.

Cagliari have recalled Mauricio Pinilla to their starting XI, where he will play alongside Nene upfront.

Luca Rossettini is suspended for the visitors so Marios Oikonomou comes into the defence and Daniele Dessena replaces Sebastian Eriksson in the midfield.

Cagliari: Avramov, Pisano, Oikonomou, Astori, Avelar, Ekdal, Dessena, Conti, Cossu, Pinilla, Nene

Roma: De Sanctis, Maicon, Benatia, Castan, Romagnoli, Nainggolan, De Rossi, Pjanic, Florenzi, Destro, Gervinho
