Exeter City keep themselves in the playoff race, as they beat strugglers Cheltenham Town 1-0 at St James's Park.

Nine-man Hartlepool United managed to salvage a draw away at 10-man Mansfield Town, as the returning Michael Duckworth levelled the score after Junior Brown opened the scoring on the 10-minute mark.

Eight red cards were issued in today's round of matches, with a total of 23 goals scored in the 12 games played on Boxing Day.
