Adam Matthews's first goal for Celtic puts them in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.

Celtic have reached the fifth round of the Scottish Cup following their 1-0 win at Arbroath.

The Premier League leaders edged past their Second Division opponents in tonight's fourth-round replay courtesy of an Adam Matthews wonder goal in the 19th minute.

Arbroath held the Hoops to a 1-1 draw at Celtic Park on December 1, but were unable to produce the same kind of heroics on home soil.

Neil Lennon's side will travel to Raith Rovers in the next round.
