French club Marseille have started discussions with Celtic over the £20m purchase of striker Moussa Dembele, according to a report.
The 21-year-old impressed during his maiden season at Parkhead, scoring 32 goals in all competitions as the Bhoys went unbeaten throughout the domestic campaign.
Dembele is understood to have been on the radar of a number of European clubs this summer, but Sky Sports News reports that Marseille could be about to win the race after opening talks with Celtic at the weekend.
It is claimed that the Scottish champions are prepared to sell the France Under-21s international, but only after their final Champions League qualifying match next month.
The former Fulham ace, who has three years left to run on the contract he signed 12 months ago, was previously said to have been close to joining Chelsea in January before a move collapsed.
