Marseille boss Rudi Garcia says that Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud will not be joining the Ligue 1 side this summer.

Marseille boss Rudi Garcia has suggested that Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud will not be signing for the French club.

Since the end of last season, Giroud has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium after only making 11 starts in the Premier League last term.

Along with Marseille, Everton and Borussia Dortmund have also been credited with an interest in the French international but according to the London Evening Standard, Arsenal are currently inclined to keep the player in North London.

Marseille have also brought in Valere Germain from AS Monaco and regarding the possible arrival of Giroud, Garcia has been quoted as saying: "Don't dream, he will not be coming."

Since signing for Arsenal in 2012, Giroud has scored 98 goals in 227 appearances in all competitions.
