A goal from Ji So-yun has given Chelsea the lead against Notts County in the Women's FA Cup final at Wembley this afternoon.
In a cagey start to the match Chelsea were the first team to threaten, but after a powerful run into the box, Gemma Davison could only fire her low cross into the side-netting.
The Blues came close again in the 30th minute when Eniola Aluko latched on to a pass in behind the defence and rounded the keeper, before firing a strike wide from a tight angle.
Aluko threatened again five minutes later when she worked some room on the edge of the box and fired in a powerful effort that was beaten away by the keeper.
Chelsea continued to dominate and they created another chance when Aluko picked out Davison at the back post, but the winger was unable to turn the ball in from close range.
However, the Blues did manage to find the back of the net moments later, when the lively Aluko darted into the box and picked out Ji to poke the ball in from just a few yards out.
