Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has revealed that Eden Hazard is "ready" to return to action ahead of Los Blancos' Champions League battle with Chelsea.
The 30-year-old has struggled with injuries ever since swapping Stamford Bridge for the Bernabeu in the summer of 2019, and he has missed nine of Real Madrid's last 10 league matches with his latest muscular problem.
Hazard did not make the cut to face Getafe in La Liga on Sunday, but Zidane has issued a positive update on his fitness before Real Madrid take on Chelsea in the Champions League semi-finals on April 27.
Speaking to reporters at a press conference, Zidane said: "He is feeling very better and he is ready. He wants to be back more than anyone else.
"We have been more cautious with [Dani] Carvajal and Hazard, because they are relapses. They are both better and that is good for the team."
Hazard has managed just two goals in nine La Liga appearances for Zidane's side this term, and he came on for the final 15 minutes against Elche on March 13 before re-entering the treatment room.
