Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez insists that Rubin Kazan will pose a tough challenge for his side when they meet in the Europa League quarter-finals.

Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez has insisted that Rubin Kazan will provide stiff competition for his side when they meet in the Europa League quarter-finals.

The Blues, who defeated Steaua Bucuresti in the last round, were drawn against the Russian club on Friday.

"At this stage of the competition every game is tough," Benitez told Chelsea's official website.

"They are a good team; they beat Atletico Madrid, and we know they are a strong team.

"They beat Levante, who are doing very well in La Liga, and they also finished ahead of Inter (Milan) in the group stages."

Chelsea will host Rubin Kazan at Stamford Bridge for the first leg of their quarter-final tie on April 4.
